- One published paper in a peer-reviewed journal.
- One submitted poster at the ACFAS Annual Scientific Conference.
Program Summary/Training Goals:
- The purpose of this fellowship is to provide the post-graduate podiatric surgeon with advanced training in adult and pediatric foot and ankle reconstruction, sports medicine in an active patient population, total ankle replacement and management of acute and chronic complex foot and ankle trauma.
- The fellow will be exposed to a high surgical and clinical volume of advanced reconstructive procedures of the foot and ankle.
- The fellow will operate both independently and dependently with direct oversight by the program director and/or another program faculty.
- The fellow will advance their surgical skills and become comfortable with advanced reconstructive procedures of the foot and ankle with a special focus on ankle replacement surgery, charcot and neuropathic reconstruction, ankle arthroscopy, amongst numerous other procedures.
